CHECKBOOK COVER
This is a great, easy project! Learn to machine quilt and bind while making a personalized oversized checkbook cover with pen holder—makes a wonderful gift, too! Bonus project—make a coinpurse from leftover scraps

QUICKEST-EVER QUILT
This quilt is so quick because it uses large patches, the corners don’t have to match, and it is tied rather than quilted. It looks great in any fabric combination—juvenile prints for babies or children, brights for teens, plaids and stripes for the men, florals for the women. It is also easy to adjust the size of this quilt, from crib size to king size.

QUILT BASICS
For those who have never quilted before. This class covers basic rotary cutting tools and techniques, simple piecing and appliqué by machine, pressing tips, quilt terminology, batting choices, hand and machine quilting, and how to apply binding. Project is a small, 4-block quilt.

QUILT BASICS PLUS (6-10 hours)
This is a more detailed beginner-level quilt class than QUILT BASICS. Rotary cutting, piecing, appliqué, pressing, quilt terminology, batting choices, hand and machine quilting, and how to apply binding will all be covered. Project is a 9-block wall quilt. (Sorry, sewing machine rental is not available for this class.)

QUILTSMART ©
Let me show you how to use Quiltsmart products to make quilts so much easier. Double Wedding Ring, Grandmother’s Flower Garden, and Lone Star are just a few of the quilts that can be accomplished by beginners with this method. “Quilt smarter, not harder” is Quiltsmart’s motto. Visit their website at www.quiltsmart.com for even more information.

ROTARY CUTTING
Rotary cutting is much faster and more accurate than cutting with scissors—once you know how! This class will take the mystery out of using these great rotary tools—rulers, cutters, and mats.

SERGER BASICS
For those who have never serged before. This class covers how to thread and adjust tensions on a serger. Learn how to do the basic serger stitches (overlock and rolled hem) and how they will provide neat, finished edges to your projects.

SEWING BASICS
For those who have never sewn before (or haven’t sewn since junior high). This class covers how to use a sewing machine, the basic sewing tools, how to read and layout a pattern, and fabric basics. Sewing is a great creative outlet and can save you money when you do your own simple repairs and alterations.

SPECIAL - DEMO 6-PACK
Want to learn a little bit about a lot of different subjects, but don’t have a lot of time? Demo 6-Pack is six lectures/demonstrations in a 90-minute time period. You choose which six topics you’d like to hear about. Choose topics from any of the classes or make a request—if we know about it, we'll do it!

WATERCOLOR QUILT
No, it isn’t painted! A watercolor quilt (also called colorwash) uses fabrics that blend from very light to very dark (usually florals) to create a soft, low-contrast color effect. This class simplifies things even further by using only seven different fabrics and quick strip-piecing to get an awesome quilt in no time at all!
